Welcome to The School of Practical Philosophy in California. Our curriculum is inspired by the universal teachings of great thinkers from both East and West. Through a wide range of courses we offer systematic study and practical guidance for anyone seeking self-realization and a deeper experience of life. The School was founded in London in 1937 by Leon MacLaren and now has branches worldwide.
